The ARRL commissioned the Vibroplex Co. of Knoxville, Tenn., to create a special iambic key to commemorate the organization’s 100th anniversary in 2014.
Photos indicate that pre-production versions of the key had a multicolor ARRL ID plate, with a full color ARRL logo as shown above. Production keys that I have seen to date are black silkscreen over the brass tone nameplate, as show at right.
Vibroplex created a limited number of special 100th Anniversary keys, each individually numbers, and engraved with the ARRL members’ callsign. Several of these keys have been sold and are showing up now on the resale market, and I’ve decided to make a record of the ones I see.
This registry includes the call and serial number of these special keys as observed for sale on eBay and elsewhere. If you own one, feel free to submit your call and serial number too.
